The New York City Ballet
For the second year in a row, the New York City Ballet is visiting and performing in Jackson Hole at the Center for the Arts. Last night's Gala event, headed by Dancer's Workshop Artistic Director Babs Case, dazzled the audience with a traditional piece choreographed by Jerome Robbins, a pas de deux choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, and a jazz-ballet piece choreographed by Peter Martins and set to the music of Ray Charles. Under direction of Peter Martins, the performance group will be performing an evening show on Saturday, August 6th and a matinee show on Sunday, August 7th.
