The Ten List
Paul and Jess Wireman, A Foodie Couple |
JESS
Favorite Book: The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.
Breakfast Spot: Gosh, I love breakfast SO much I cannot even begin to focus on a single, meager, lonely spot. But the veranda of the Ferry Building, perfect Blue Bottle coffee and a farm-fresh egg sandwich could do.
Dinner Spot: Trio- food doesn't get any better than that and the chefs aren't too shabby to take a gander at.
Drink of Choice: High Life.
City to Visit: San Francisco, the perfect compliment to Jackson- artsy, foodie, hickster, sea-side scene that requires a different jacket every day of the year!
Best Spot in Teton Valley: Saddle of my bike somewhere up Horseshoe Canyon.
Non-Profit: The Art Association
Guilty Pleasure: Dirty Belvedere martinis
Style Icon: Unfortunately, I'm still searching for a sense of style.
Words to Live By: "This is my depressed stance. When you're depressed, it makes a lot of difference how you stand. The worst thing you can do is straighten up and hold your head high because then you'll start to feel better. If you're going to get any joy out of being depressed, you've got to stand like this." -Charlie Brown
PAUL
Favorite Book: The Devil in the Kitchen by Marco Pierre White
Breakfast Spot: On my porch in the summer when my wife cooks
Dinner Spot: Really? what do you want me to say?... but Trio really is!
Drink of Choice: A Hendrick's Collins with a splash of grapefruit will be my drink this summer
City to Visit: San Francisco, great friends, blue bottle coffee and food.
Best spot in Teton Valley: The Red Hills
Non-Profit: Paws
Guilty Pleasure: Haagen-Dazs chocolate peanut butter
Style Icon: Mos Def
Words to Live By: Short of the redneck joke…YOU CAN DO IT. That’s what I like to live by.

Burger and a Beer at Trio
The burger at Trio now has bacon ground right into the patty. Enough said.
An Installation at Betty Rock
This installation at the Betty Rock was done by the students from Jackson Hole Community School. Made from book pages, it makes a comment on how overwhelming, important, satisfying, and confusing education can be.

The Ten List
Jennifer Magnusson, Cognito Designs |
Place for Breakfast: Nora's, espeically on a lazy Sunday with my husband.
Place for Dinner: Where the friends are. The food is best when you share the table and conversation with friends.
Drink of Choice: I love St. Germaine!
Book: I have SO many, but one of my all time favorites is by a local author, Tim Sandlin. Rowdy in Paris. I laughed out loud the whole way through!
Place to Visit: We try to get over to Europe at least once a year to catch up with friends and family. Usually England and Sweden.
Guilty Pleasure: Sleeping in and popcicles.
Non-Profit of Choice: Dancer's Workshop. Inspiring, evocative, quality...ALWAYS. And the imagination present in every aspect of the organization, from performances to classes. We are lucky to have them.
Style Icon: Audrey Hepburn. The definition of grace.
Best Local Event: Old Bill's Fun Run. It is one of my favorites. It feels like a town that becomes a neighborhood. The energy is as infectious as the giving.
Words to live by: Creativity takes Courage. -Henri Matisse

Bespoke My Heart
The relationship between a tailor and a gentleman is close. Men are dressed for their weddings, graduations, and special occasions because they are important times, but really aren't all of our days special? Enter Logsdail Classic, a company based in field sports traditions that is bringing the details of the past into our present. Introduced to Jackson Hole by Lars and Jennifer Magnusson, this company is centered around Leonard Logsdail, a tailor who cut his teeth many years ago on Savile Row. Logsdail Classic provides clothing made from fabrics from Scotland that is tailored to the customer's specifications....and it's right here in Jackson Hole in the rafters above Gaslight Alley. The jackets, shirts, and trousers have the classic feel of something handed down from your grandfather. Very elegant.
